Ignacio Andrade Monagas

Founding Partner of Ponte Andrade Casanova since 2005. He is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1989.

He studied postgraduate studies at the University of Tulane, New Orleans, USA, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in admiralty law in 1991. He also completed the Specialist Program in Labor Law at the UCAB, mention Summa Cum Laude in 2008.

Legal Adviser of the Subcommittee on Labor Risks of the Presidential Commission for the Reform of the Social Security System on behalf of the private business sector (2000).

Member of the Legislative Technical Team of the Ministry of Labor for the Reform of the Social Security and the Labor Legislation in the representation of the private business sector (2000-2001).

Adviser to the Permanent Commission of Integral Social Development of the National Assembly for the reform of the Organic Law of Labor, of the Social Security System in Venezuela and for the formulation of the LOPCYMAT (2004-2005).

Advisor of companies in matters of pensions and retirement, as well as an advisor in labor matters and occupational safety and health Coauthor of the Book: «Organic Law on Prevention, Conditions and Work Environment (LOPCYMAT). Compliance and Responsibilities. Analysis and Experiences 2005-2010«.

Member of the Labor Affairs Committee of the Venezuelan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Production (FEDECAMARAS).
